I'm TP Spaapen. Entrepreneur. Sales performance coach. Speaker. Father. Author. Musician. Founder of OJP: Ontketen Je Potentieel.

For 25 years I've helped entrepreneurs, professionals, leaders and teams unleash their talents and human potential and turn it into real, measurable performance.

I believe people are capable of extraordinary things. Not in theory. But when mindset, skills, trust and action come together.

That is where my work lives. Helping people see clearly, speak authentically, influence and sell to serve with integrity, build trust and relationships and take focused action.

So they grow. And become more.

How did I get here?

It started with a lot of moving.

I grew up in an entrepreneurial family in Brabant and moved nineteen times before I turned twenty-three, across five countries. New schools, new languages, new codes to crack every couple of years. At the time it felt like non-stop adventurous chaos, and I loved every minute of it. Looking back, it was my first real training in human behaviour and flexibility. My dopamine-craving brain got rewarded with new habitats and a steady stream of new people to learn from. My Quriosity helped me become good at reading a room, hearing what people actually mean, and connecting with strangers.

That skill became my work.

I have started seven companies.

I have built, failed, grown, sold, lost, rebuilt and started again. I have been founder, CEO, shareholder, fired executive, turnaround builder and bought-out partner.

So I don’t coach theory.

I know the pressure of ambition, growth, crisis, leadership and reinvention from the inside. That is why I help founders, leaders and sales teams see what is really going on, make sharper decisions and turn potential into action and growth.

I have trained more than 41,600 professionals from 51 nationalities in over 1,000 organisations, including Microsoft, Rabobank, ATOS, EY, Capgemini, HP, ING, Oracle, KPN, BDO, Cegeka, Bosch, Mazars, Achmea and many great dutch businesses.

What I do today

I help founders, CEOs, sales leaders, consultants and business owners answer one question. How do you get the most out of your human potential and businesses? I fix underperforming salesteams, and help leaders amplify their authenticity and growth.

I talk about it passionately in keynotes, I do it through transformation programs, coaching, and hands-on implementation. I use my own frameworks for this, including Authentonomics, Core4 People Skills and ABSintoACTION. Practical tools, not fancy theory. Growth and progress comes from consistent and aligned behaviours and an operating system and feedback loop to improve daily.

What you can expect

I am positive and I am direct. I believe deeply in people and your unique potential, and I will look honestly at whatever is in the way. I will encourage you. I will stand beside you. And I will tell you the truth, because you unleash potential by bringing truth, trust and action together.

That is my work. And I deeply love it.

Outside the work

Mostly I am Peggy's husband, Lennon and Dylan's dad, and Matsie's packleader. I write, sing, play and build electric guitars by hand, mountain bike, cook Italian for friends, and stay obsessively curious about people, growth, music, philosophy, neuropsychology, tech and everything that helps people to...
